FUEL CRISIS: KACHIKWU APOLOGISES TO NIGERIANS

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources; Dr. Ibe Kachikwu has apologized to Nigerians over his remark that he is not a magician. The Minister declared that he is not going to resign as suggested by some Nigerians as he has work to do as mandated by the President Buhari.
The Minister while appearing before the Nigerian senate over the unending nationwide fuel scarcity; stated categorically that the crisis is as a result of three major issues; the removal of the fuel subsidy in January, 2016, the inability of major marketers to import fuel, vandalisation. He stated that the NNPC is being over-burdened to import fuel as it is suppose be the supplier of last resort as it does not have the capacity to supply all the fuel needed by Nigerians.

He however reassured Nigerian that within the first two weeks of April, fuel will be available at all filling stations in Nigeria.
